NEW LOGO

Since we are so lucky to have the Portuguese school in the project, our logo needed to be changed as it did not contain the flag of Portugal.

This is the new one, changed by the Turkish student who won the competition.
Isn't it great? :)

OUR PROJECT

The Comenius Project "Our History - Our Pride and Strength" aims to rediscover the national and European history as conveyed to the European peoples, in song, dance, ballads and legends.
It aims to develop students' interest in European history, analysing its current course, knowing cultures and traditions of the partner states, while respecting the European and regional diversity.

Our partnership consists of three different schools from three different countries: Turkey, the United Kingdom (England) and Poland.
The activities in the project, integrated in the curriculum (music, sports, history, geography, biology, foreign languages), information and documentation (via Internet or other sources) on the local and European traditions will stimulate students' interest, who will understand the traditions, customs and unity in diversity, and will develop their passion for preserving  European culture.

Making cultures and traditions valuable will be achieved  through school and extracurricular activities (folk art exhibitions, folk performances and parades of costumes, visits, documentation trips) where  parents and community representatives will attend .
