1st PM in Promnik

The mobility to Poland took place between the 18th and the 24th of November 2013.
We were really proud to welcome 8 teachers and 17 students from Turkey and the UK during the first meeting of the project “Our History – Our Pride and Strength” in such a small school in Promnik, Poland.

Staff and pupils at Gimnazjum nr 3 were incredibly excited to meet and be taught by our guests. We hope that visiting our country and region was for all the participating teachers and students an interesting experience – that you have learned something new and discovered some parts of the Polish history, our culture, traditions and everyday life.

It was a pleasure to show to the guests from so different parts of the world our neighborhoods, our region, important historical places. But the most important thing was to meet face to face wonderful teachers and students from Kilis and Leicester, watch them learning our folk dances and presenting the dance show that they have prepared for us.

The good feelings, the special moments shared with our partners will stay in our memories forever.

We believe that this project will contribute to a better understanding of our countries and their history and establish ties of friendship and tolerance by the students and staff.
